imread

imread helps developers and researchers turn a public web article into usable text instead of raw page HTML. Paste a link in the reader, then copy the article as plain text or Markdown with its headings, links and tables. For scripts and AI agents, the free REST API and MCP endpoint expose the same extraction workflow without an API key. Reading is available without signing in; an optional Google login adds a saved-article library. The reader also offers listening and translation, which send text to external services.
